"Christ Among Other gods:  A Defense of Christ in an Age of Tolerance" By Erwin W. Lutzer I was elated to read this book, I eagerly waited for it to arrive in the mail. Not many books exist in the defense of Jesus Christ as our only Savior.  Pastor Lutzer has written this book with easy to understand vocabulary. There's so many new terms/phrases that have developed with time which are prominent in this age of tolerance such as; pluralism, inclusivism, exclusivism, selectivism, social tolerance, legal tolerance, uncritical tolerance, among others that I had heard before but didn't exactly know their meanings. I found the first 3 chapters very informative and helpful in understanding apologetics vernacular (which I, most often than not, feel lost with).   Each chapter focuses on an account for the defense of Jesus as the only Savior with Biblical evidence, comparison of other deities/ religions, logic, and philosophy.  Pastor Lutzer also i...

Everything about Scotland is fascinating, so naturally, reading this book was a very enjoyable experience for me. Let me start off by saying that I have not read the first book in this series. However, for those of you haven't either, don't worry, enough references have been made to the previous book that the storyline is not interrupted. Set up against the backdrop of the beautiful Shetlands, off the coast of Scotland, the imagery used in the story is breathtaking- as if one were physically there.
