Worthy

"Worthy: Celebrating the Value of Women" by Elyse Fitzpatrick & Eric Schumacher In a time when a woman's role in the family, society, church, and ministry is often ignored, belittled or takes an extreme feminist turn, this book comes at a crucial period. The fact that it is authored by both a man and a woman is important, we need more men to speak up on behalf of women.  I found this book both very Scriptural and on point. Fight Your Fears

"Fight Your Fears: Trusting God's Character and Promises When Your Are Afraid" by Kristen Wetherell  Fight Your Fears by Kristen Wetherell is surprisingly different from other Christian books I've read on the same topic. She goes through the many different types of fear that are common, exposing them and facing them with Scripture. She ends with great encouragement from the Bible and the power of God over fear.  She makes illustrations using her own life experiences and those of others. Each chapter begins with Scripture and ends with a section titled "Learning to Trust" which contains 4 s...
