Made For The Journey

"Made For the Journey; One Missionary's First Year in the Jungles of Ecuador" By Elisabeth Elliot  Let me start off by saying that Elisabeth Elliot is one of my favorite authors and a godly woman I respect and look up to. I have read several of her books and have loved them all, I am always left deeply convicted. So reading this short autobiography was very enjoyable and humbling. Elisabeth recounts her first ever experience as a missionary before she married Jim Elliot, before she had ever been anywhere. She briefly touches upon her training prior to getting her missionary position in the jungles of Equador, the uncomfortable journey getting there, the conditions of daily living that she had to learn to get accustomed to.
