"The Basic Bible Atlas: A Fascinating
Guide to the Land of the Bible"
by John A. Beck
This is a very helpful and much-needed resource! I'm glad I chose to review this compact Bible atlas. Although not exhaustive, the maps in this book are thorough and the information that goes along with each map is enlightening. It breaks down the maps into sections and in Biblical chronological order. Starting with the creation and ending with the early church. I have learned quite a bit just by flipping through the pages. The maps are clean and easy to follow.
I really liked the Jesus section, it brings Biblical times back to life and helps you understand Scripture more fully in the right context. I love resources such as this one because it makes you appreciate the Bible even more.
This is a great addition to every personal library - if you're looking for a Bible Atlas, get this one you won't regret it.
I received a copy of this book from Baker in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
