"The Love Note"
by Joanna Davidson Politano
I liked the plot of this book, it is unique, sweet, and heart-warming. I like that the author took on a topic that I don't see much in Christian fiction: a strong female character in a role that was unconventional at the time. The protagonist, a nurse studying to become a doctor finds a love letter and is determined to find out its owner. As the letter passes through the hands of several characters, it transforms their lives one by one.
I really loved the protagonist, she was headstrong, independent, smart, and did not easily fall for feelings. We need more Christian women like that. So the main message was extremely relevant to our times. Readers will find this novel to be uplifting, beautiful, and overall, a great read for fans of historical romance fiction.
I received a copy of this book from Revell in exchange for an honest review all opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
